The wine KARIA is made from a tapestry of vines in the southern region of Napa Valley, which are given citrus and mineral aromas by breezes blowing north from San Pablo Bay in the mornings and evenings. Early in the morning is when the fruit is selected to keep it cool, and the complete cluster is then pressed to maintain its freshness. Malolactic fermentation and oak are used sparingly to highlight rather than overpower the fruit. The Greek term KARIA (pronounced KAR-ee-ah) means graceful, and the 2019 KARIA Chardonnay lives true to its name.
