Clase Azul's first Single Estate Agave Tequila, manufactured from agaves exclusively harvested from a small mountain in Los Altos de Jalisco known as "El Cerro del Viboreo," will be released in 2021 in honor of Dia de Los Muertos. The front of the decanter is embellished with a handcrafted, gold-plated metal ornament manufactured by Mexican artists, portraying Catrinas (elegantly dressed skeletons) enjoying a feast of the most classic Da de Muertos foods. This unique tequila was made by combining an aejo tequila matured for more than 14 months in American whiskey barrels with light and medium charring. The tasting notes also pay homage to the flavors present in holiday celebration offerings.
